Robert Morris needs three points in its final two games to guarantee itself the first Northeast Conference playoff berth in team history as it welcomes Mount St. Mary's and league front-runner Fairleigh Dickinson to North Athletic Complex this weekend. The Colonials sit at 8-9 overall and 4-2 in league play and can still make the playoffs without three points, but they would have to rely on outside help in that scenario. The 12 points put RMU in third-place in the conference and give them an outside shot at overtaking FDU for first and the right to host the postseason tournament. RMU has won five of its last seven games, including a 4-2 victory at LIU Brooklyn last Sunday.

Mount St. Mary's will be playing to keep its playoff hopes alive Friday as they sit outside looking in at the moment. The Mountaineers suffered a 1-0 setback at home to Wagner last Sunday. Fairleigh Dickinson sits atop the league standings with a perfect record of 6-0 and can lock up hosting rights with a win Friday at Saint Francis U.

The Series vs. Mount St. Mary's
Robert Morris has won six of the last eight meetings with Mount St. Mary's and has a record of 6-1-1 in those games. Overall, the Colonials trail 9-12-2 with the team's having met every season since 1992. RMU is 5-3-2 in home games against Mount.

The Series vs. Fairleigh Dickinson
RMU and FDU have met every season since 2000 with the Knights holding a 5-9-1 advantage. Fairleigh Dickinson is 3-1-1 against Robert Morris in the last five games with the Colonials last victory coming in 2011 by the score of 3-1. RMU does hold a 4-2-1 record in home games.
