CapsuleRobert Morris kicks off its 23rd season of women's soccer by taking on one of its most familiar non-conference foes, the Duquesne Dukes. RMU and the Dukes meet for the 19th time Friday, Aug. 21, in the second match of the Steel City Classic Presented by Adidas at 7:30 p.m. at Duquesne's Art Rooney Field. This is the 19th meeting between the squads which is the second most for RMU against a non-NEC opponent – the Colonials have played Youngstown State one more time. Robert Morris was selected eighth in the Northeast Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll after finishing the 2014 season at 4-11-4 overall and 2-3-3 in league games.

The Series vs. DuquesneRobert Morris upended the Dukes last season, 3-2, closing the gap in the all-time series to 4-12-2.
Kristie Hamilton scored twice and
Chelsea de Jager made six saves as RMU snapped a seven-game winless streak against the Dukes. The Colonials are 2-6 in games played on the Bluff.
