RMU Hosts Niagara In Home Opener

RMU Women's Soccer Gameday Preview

vs. Niagara Purple Eagles
August 30, 2015 | 3:00 p.m.
Moon Township, Pa. | North Athletic Complex

Capsule
Robert Morris plays its home opener at North Athletic Complex this Sunday, Aug. 30, by hosting the Niagara Purple Eagles in a 3:00 p.m. game. The Colonials are in search of their first victory of the season following losses to Duquesne and Pitt in last weekend's Steel City Classic. The Purple Eagles are also winless, dropping a 2-0 decision to Michigan State in their season opener before earning a scoreless draw with Akron Friday.

The Series vs. Niagara
The Colonials trail the all-time series, 4-13-1, against the Purple Eagles but have a much more respectable 4-5 record since the teams rekindled the rivalry in 2006. That recent record, 4-5, matches the home mark of the Colonials against Niagara. The home team has won the last eight times.
