Flagstaff, Ariz. – The
Robert Morris University women's soccer team finished the Northern Arizona Mountain Classic with a 6-1 loss to the host Lumberjacks Sunday afternoon. The Colonials split their two games at the tournament, defeating Grand Canyon University 2-1 Friday before Sunday's loss. RMU is now 3-6 overall.
The Colonials lone goal in Sunday's contest came off the head of sophomore
Kayla Kelley in the 78th minute. It was the first goal of the season for Kelley.

The Lumberjacks got on the board first in the 19th minute as Haley Wingender scored her seventh goal of the season on a penalty kick. A total of six different players scored for Northern Arizona including Chantal Deroos, Madeline Waszak, Ali Lixandru, Alexia Gonzalez and Gabi Gibeault. NAU improves to 5-4-0.
Robert Morris wraps up the non-conference portion of its schedule at North Athletic Complex beginning with a Friday, Sept. 26, meeting against IPFW. Kick-off is slated for 3:00 p.m.
