Youngstown, Ohio – The Robert Morris University indoor track & field team posted nine top-six finishes at the YSU National Invitational while competing Friday and Saturday inside the Watson and Tressel Training Site.

RMU scored higher than four of the seven teams it was matched against in the dual-meet scoring format, as it claimed wins over Canisius, Detroit, Oakland and VMI.

Junior April Krivoniak surpassed the ECAC qualifying standard in the shot put for the second straight week. She placed fourth in the event with a toss of 13.74 meters, the fifth-longest throw in program history. Senior Jessica Guyett was a couple spots behind her teammate as her season-best mark of 13.10 meters put her in sixth place.

Senior Olivia Loy was the runner-up in the pole vault as she cleared 3.60 meters. In doing so, she reached the ECAC qualifying standard for the second time this season. Sophomore Breanna Manzolillo tied for fourth in the same event by clearing the bar at 3.30 meters.

Junior Rachel Boody came in third place in the weight throw with a career-best fling of 15.61 meters.

Freshman Lilly Harnish was the Colonials' top finisher in both the high jump and the triple jump. She came in fifth in the former event (1.60 meters) and was 12th, among 38 competitors, in the latter (10.94 meters).

Freshmen Madison Mueseler and Mathilde Terleth came in fifth and sixth in the 500-meter dash with times of 1:18.39 and 1:18.80, respectively. Mueseler posted the best time by a Colonial this season in the event while running it for the first time as a collegian.

That same duo was part of RMU's 4x400-meter relay team that came in sixth among 23 teams with a time of 4:01.57. It is the fastest such time for a Colonial team since the 2006-07 season. Senior Tatianna Struble ran the opening leg and was followed by Terleth, senior Maria Scanlon and Mueseler.

Sophomore Rachel Crane finished ninth, among 60 entrants, in the 800-meter run. Her time of 2:18.75 stands as the fifth-fastest in program history.
