Box Score Moon Township, Pa. - Robert Morris University women's lacrosse takes its second consecutive win with a 22-11 victory over the Saint Mary's Gaels on Friday evening at Joe Walton Stadium.
The 22 goals marks the third highest total in program history, tying a mark set vs. St. Francis (PA) in 2008. With 11 assists in addition to the 22 goals, the Colonials' 33 points matches the fourth-best mark in RMU history (Central Conn. State; 04/09/09).
Freshman
Annie Sachs led the way in scoring for the third time in four games, posting four goals and dealing one assist. Fellow freshman
Mackenzie Gandy also notched five points with three goals and two assists. Freshman
Clio Kerr broke through for her first goal of the season and ended up with four points on two goals and two assists.
Goalkeeper
Katelyn Miller made nine saves en route to her second career victory. The Colonials caused 19 turnovers and collected 23 ground balls, led by
Katie Breeze who had a trio of each.
