New Haven, Ct. - Robert Morris University women's lacrosse fell 15-4 to the Yale Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon. Freshman
Annie Sachs continued her stellar play with a pair of goals and an assist, factoring in three of the four goals.
Sachs posted a complete game that included four caused turnovers and eight ground balls, a mark that ranks second all-time in a single game at RMU. Sachs scored 6 goals and 2 assists across the two-game weekend for Robert Morris. Sachs is in the top 10 in the NCAA in scoring among freshman, the top scoring rookie in the NEC, with 14 goals and 8 assists in five career games.
The Colonials hung with the Bulldogs in the first half, down 7-2 at the break. Yale took a 3-0 lead before senior
Katie Breeze scored of an assist by Sachs, to make it a 3-1 game. The Bulldogs rattled off four more goals before Sachs cut the lead to five with a goal in the final 27 seconds in the half.
Robert Morris' defense held Yale off the board for the first 12:05 of the second half, before the Bulldogs unleashed six consecutive goals. Freshman
Mackenzie Gandy stopped that run with her eighth career goal, assisted by
Dana Davis. Yale added another pair before Sachs closed with her second goal of the game, with 1:01 remaining, assisted by
Mackenzie Gandy.

Meghan Crouse caused four turnovers while Megan Wolgang had three and
Kendall Noel added two. The Colonials racked up 16 caused turnovers and continues to set the pace as one of the NCAA's best in this category. Robert Morris collected 24 ground balls, led by Sachs' eight, while Wolgang and

Sarah Arnold closed out the 12:37 and made a save.
