Box Score Washington, D.C. - Robert Morris University women's lacrosse fell in a hard-fought back and forth battle with George Washington, 10-9 on Saturday afternoon. Freshman
Annie Sachs led the Colonials in scoring for the fifth time in six games, posting two goals and two assists.

Katy Phillips, rallying to take a 6-5 lead at the end of the first half.
Kerri Sayrafe and Sachs each posted two goals in the first half.
"We needed a timeout to regroup and refocus on our goals for the game, " said Phillips. "We wanted to focus on gaining possession right off the draw to allow our fofense to get some momentum going."
The momentum after the timeout included both goals by Sachs, a goal by Sayrafe,
Mackenzie Gandy and the go-ahead goal by
Katie Breeze, putting RMU ahead 6-5 at the halftime break.
George Washington came back strong in the second half with a pair of goals to regain the lead, 7-6.
