Robert Morris Hosts Red Flash on Friday

Moon Township, Pa. - Robert Morris University women's lacrosse aims for a 3-0 start in Northeast Conference play as in-state rival Saint Francis comes to Joe Walton Stadium on Friday.

LAST TIME OUT
Robert Morris took back-to-back wins last weekend on the road at Mount St. Mary's (7-6) and Wagner (15-14). 

HOME COOKING
Robert Morris is a perfect 5-0 at home, scoring 83 goals in those five contests, averaging more than 16 goals per game at Joe Walton Stadium. The Colonials defense has allowed just 40 total goals on home turf, an average of just eight goals per game.

The Colonials are outscoring opponents by an average of 2.58 goals per game, ranked 30th in the country, with a scoring defense allowing just 9.33 goals per game, No. 20 overall in the NCAA.

Junior Dana Davis and senior Megan Wolfgang have consistently been in the top 15 in the NCAA in both caused turnovers and ground balls. Davis is first in the NEC and ninth in the NCAA in ground balls per game (3.58) and Wolfgang is 4th in the NEC, 18th in the NCAA (3.25). The senior defender is 10th in the NCAA in caused turnovers per game, 3rd in the NEC (2.58), while Davis is 11th in the NCAA, 4th in the NEC (2.25).

FAB FRESHMEN
Freshman Annie Sachs is first in the NEC in points (48 points, 63rd NCAA) and first in points per game (4.00, 38th NCAA), second in the NEC in goals with 32 (79th NCAA). Rookie goalkeeper Katelyn Miller is 20th in the NCAA and 2nd in the NEC in goals against average (9.16) and 17th in the NCAA and 2nd in the NEC in save percentage (.495).

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Saint Francis leads the NEC in points, shooting percentage, draw controls and free position percentage. Holly Lawrence leads the Red Flash in goals with 37 and is 12th in the NCAA with 3.36 goals per game. Lawrence is the NEC leader in free position goals per game and is ranked 2nd in the NCAA.
