Annie Sachs -- into the tournament, along with one of the NCAA's top ranked defenses.

SERIES & POSTSEASON HISTORY
The semifinal matchup with Wagner is a rematch of last season's semifinal, a 17-7 loss for RMU. This season, the teams have traded seeding, as Robert Morris finished as the second place team in conference with a 5-2 NEC and 11-6 overall record, while Wagner is 6-11 overall with a 4-3 NEC mark. This is the third time the teams have met in the postseason, the first being a 17-7 loss to Wagner in 2014. It's also the Colonials second time entering as the two-seed, the highest seeding the team has had in the program's fifth appearance in the postseason.
Robert Morris has an 8-7 all-time record vs. Wagner, including a 15-14 win over the Seahawks earlier this season. Junior
Dana Davis led the Colonials in scoring with four goals and two assists, while Sachs added four goals,
Mackenzie Gandy had three goals and an assist, and
Maggie Stella posted two goals.
Megan Wolfgang and
Meghan Crouse each had five ground balls and three caused turnovers while Crouse also won three draws. Sachs also three ground balls, three caused turnovers and four draw controls.
Katelyn Miller made eight saves in goal for the win.

Annie Sachs capped the evening earning the first-ever major awards in Robert Morris women's lacrosse history, named the NEC Rookie of the Year and Midfielder of the Year. Sachs was named to the first team along with junior midfielder

SACHS' SPECIAL SEASON
Sachs led all NEC players in scoring this season with 73 points, the only athlete to eclipse the 70-point mark this season. Sachs' rookie campaign included setting RMU single-season record for points, goals (47), shots & shots on goal, while ranking 25th in the NCAA in scoring, tied for fourth among freshman nationally. The freshman from Baldwin, Maryland is performing on both ends of the field, ranked tenth in the NEC in caused turnovers per game (1.71 per game) and ninth in ground balls per game (2.76). The lone NEC player sitting in the top-five in all three major offensive categories, she ranks first in the league in points per game (4.29), third in assists (1.53) and fourth in goals (2.76). Â Sachs is the first NEC women's lacrosse player to earn two major awards in the same season, the first Rookie of the Year to win a positional award as well.Â

Megan Wolfgang have helped the Colonials become one of the more dominating defenses in the NCAA, ranked first in the NEC and second in the NCAA with 14.18 caused turnovers per game, as well as the fourth-best marks in in the NCAA in ground balls with 23.53 per game. Wolfgang is third in the NEC in both caused turnovers (2.41/pg, 10th NCAA) and ground balls (3.12/pg, 21st NCAA) with 53 ground balls and 41 caused turnovers. Despite missing two games due to injury, Davis still leads the Colonials with 57 ground balls, ranked second in the NEC and seventh in the NCAA, and fifth in the NEC and 23rd in the NCAA in caused turnovers, averaging 2.07 per game. The Colonials are outscoring opponents by an average of 2.53 goals per game, ranked 32nd in the country and second in the NEC, with a scoring defense allowing just 10.94 goals per game, No. 39 overall in the NCAA and second in the NEC.
REACHING FOR RECORDS
Sachs scored nine points and two goals in the final weekend of the regular season to set new RMU single-season scoring and goals records (73 points, record was 71; 47 goals, record was 45). Miller can set a single-season wins record (12) with a win this weekend. Davis is three ground balls away from setting a new RMU single-season record (has 56, record is 58).

HOME COOKING
Robert Morris had a 7-1 record at Joe Walton Stadium this season, matching the Colonials best-ever home record of 7-1 set in the 2014 campaign.
ROAD RUMBLERS
Five of the Colonials six total losses have come on the road and four were in non-conference play. RMU was 4-5 in road contests, with four of the six losses coming by two goals or less.
WINNING WAYS
The Colonials are one win from setting a new record for the highest win total in program history. Robert Morris holds an 11-6 mark, matching the 11-6 program-best mark set in 2014. Robert Morris has posted its fifth consecutive winning season, making its fourth straight appearance in the NEC conference tournament. The Colonials are aiming for their first-ever trip to the conference championship game.
