Smithfield, R.I. – The Robert Morris University women's soccer team was upended by Bryant this afternoon, 2-0, in Northeast Conference (NEC) action from Bulldog Soccer Field.
Bryant (7-6-1, 3-2-1 NEC) owned a 15-4 edge in shot attempts and scored the game's lone two goals in the first 10 minutes. Robert Morris (4-12-0, 2-4-0 NEC) saw Sydney Bruckner make eight saves between the sticks.
Remi Manna opened the scoring in the fifth minute with an assist to Cayla D'Amico. Five minutes later, Rachel Benz doubled the lead following a pass from Kylie Ratelle.
Kaele Kloc and Keirsten Van Horn each provided a shot on goal in the second half as the Colonials looked to mount a comeback.
Robert Morris takes on Sacred Heart on Sunday, Oct. 21 at noon in its road finale.
