Moon Township, Pa. – The
Robert Morris University cross country team continued its 2018 season Saturday by finishing eighth at the 50th annual Tommy Evans Invitational in Akron, Ohio.
Leading the way for the Colonials was sophomore
Sami Felton, who navigated the five-kilometer course at Silver Creek Metro Park in a time of 20:02.
Sophomore
Tara Richardson finished 25 seconds behind Felton at 20:27, while sophomore
Martha Gardner was seven seconds behind Richardson, clocking in at 20:34.

Freshmen
Sonnie Sauvinsky and
Laura Lintelman rounded out the top five harriers for RMU, with Sauvinsky crossing the finish line with a time of 21:23, while Lintelman posted a time of 22:21.
Also crossing the finish line in a time of 22:21 for Robert Morris was senior
Brynn Adams.
Robert Morris now has three weeks off before its next competition, which takes place Saturday, Sept. 29, with the Eden Hall Invitational.
