LAST TIME OUT
The Colonials battled feisty Liberty for 60 minutes Wednesday afternoon at Joe Walton Stadium before bowing by a 10-7 score. RMU trailed 5-2 in the first half and 9-3 in the second before pushing to the wire against one of the most aggressive teams in Division I. Junior Mackenzie Gandy recorded her second consecutive hat trick and added two assists, raising her team-leading totals to seven goals and 13 points. Junior goalie Katelyn Miller stopped 17 shots to give RMU a chance, coming up one save shy of her own single-game program record.

HISTORY LESSON
The Colonials and Bison have met seven times over the past 11 seasons, with the past two meetings coming down to the last possession. RMU dropped a 5-4 double-overtime decision to Bucknell in last year's season opener, following up an 11-10 defeat in its previous trip to Lewisburg two years ago. The Bison have a 4-3 lead in the all-time series, including a 2-2 mark on their home field.

OPPOSITION RESEARCH
Bucknell earned its first victory of the season Wednesday at home, smashing Howard 23-0 in the program's third-ever shutout. The Bison forced 20 turnovers and held Howard to just four shots on goal. Tace Sutherland and Sarah Monteleone each scored three goals and one assist for coach Remington Steele's squad, which is trying to rebound from a 3-13 record last season, which included a 1-8 mark in Patriot League play.

WEATHER REPORT
Temperatures in Lewisburg are expected to peak in the low 40s with a 50-50 chance of wintry mix.

THEY SAID IT
"We just kept battling. It wasn't a pretty 60 minutes, but it was a full 60 minutes." - Junior defender Madison Burke on the effort against tenacious Liberty

STERLING SILVA

Entering her second season in charge of the Colonials, Katrina Silva brings 12 years of Division I head coaching experience to the table. Before taking over the program in 2018, Silva served as an RMU assistant coach for five years and a volunteer assistant for one.

Previous to her time in Moon Township, Silva led the lacrosse programs at Virginia Tech (four years) and Colgate (seven), in addition to Division III Roanoke College. A goalie in her playing days, she was the 1993 Southeastern Conference defensive player of the year for Towson.

HONOR ROLL
The following Colonials have earned NEC weekly awards this season:
Katelyn Miller (Defensive Player of Week - Feb. 18-24)
