RELEASE: Horizon League Announces #HLWBB Schedule Changes
The schedule reshuffle was announced by the Horizon League after Youngstown State paused all team activities due to a positive COVID-19 test. NKU was originally set to host the Penguins this weekend to open league play. RMU's debut Horizon League series initially was scheduled to be played this weekend at Cleveland State before it was canceled on Nov. 30.
Beginning its inaugural season in the Horizon League, RMU was tabbed to finish fifth in the coaches' preseason rankings and is in the midst of its greatest run in program history. The Colonials, who return five players who started 15 or more games in 2019-20 and 10 letterwinners overall, have gone 92-37 (.713) under Buscaglia's tenure, capturing four NEC regular-season championships, two NEC Tournament crowns, a pair of NCAA Tournament berths, and a Postseason Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) bid since 2016-17.
