Picking Your Spot –
Senior Briana Bunner went 3-for-4 with two runs and a double in a 6-5 victory @ UNCW (3/1/20) to help the Colonials close out the Seahawk Softball Challenge with a victory. She picked up her second stolen base of the season to open a rally in the second inning against the Seahawks, igniting a three-run rally by stealing third. Bunner came around to score on a two-run double from senior Taryn Miller to give Robert Morris an early edge. During her career, Bunner is a perfect 9-for-9 in stolen base attempts.

How About That – Senior Madison Riggle hit her third home run of the 2020 season in a 6-5 win @ UNCW (3/1/20), as her two-run shot in the top of the seventh gave the Colonials a 6-3 advantage. Riggle is tied for the team lead in round trippers with senior Natalie Higgins and overall in 2020 is hitting .310 (13-for-52) with nine RBI and a .524 slugging percentage. Riggle had hit two home runs during her career in her previous 94 at bats but already owns three in her first 42 trips to the dish in 2020.

Connor's Cure – For the second consecutive season, Robert Morris will take part in a season long fundraising effort with Connor's Cure Hit-A-Thon, which will help raise money to help conquer pediatric cancer while benefiting Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. The Hit-A-Thon provides two options to raise money, including a pledge of a certain amount of money per statistical category for the 2020 season or a flat donation.
