Moon Township, Pa. – A trio of RMU volleyball student-athletes earned 2021 Horizon League All-Academic Team honorable mention honors Tuesday, as fifth-year middle blocker

Nikolette Zanolli were bestowed the plaudit.
A total of 13 student-athletes were named to the 2021 #HLVB All-Academic Team, while 10 more were tabbed as honorable mention in balloting by the Horizon League faculty athletics representatives.
Granger, a psychology major who has maintained a 3.77 cumulative grade point average (GPA), concluded her career at RMU as the program's all-time leader in block assists (431), total blocks (505) and service aces (242). The first student-athlete in program history to eclipse career totals of 1,000 kills and 500 blocks, Granger led RMU during the 2021 season with 223 kills and finished fourth in program history in the category with 1,262.

Ryan has maintained a perfect 4.00 cumulative GPA as a nursing major and during the 2021 season finished second for the Colonials with 203 kills and third with 160 digs. She produced three double-doubles during the campaign, including a career-high 20 kills in a 3-2 victory over UMES (8/27) to open the season. In 141 career sets, Ryan owns 325 kills, an average of 2.30 per set, and 239 digs (1.70).
Zanolli became the 13th student-athlete in program history to eclipse 1,000 career digs in 2021, turning the trick @ Oakland (10/23). A biology major who owns a cumulative GPA of 3.81, Zanolli finished second for RMU in digs in 2021 with 172 while also posting 19 service aces. She appeared in 306 sets during her career as a student-athlete for the Colonials, compiling 1,059 digs, an average of 3.46 per set.
