- The RMU rowing team concludes its 2021 regular season Saturday when it goes up against Duquesne from Millvale Riverfront Park.
 
- Originally slated to be hosted from the McPhail Boathouse at the RMU Island Sports Center and on the Ohio River, persistent rain this week has forced the event to be moved to the Allegheny River.
 
The Schedule - Boats begin launching at 10:00 a.m., with the Novice 8 opening the competition at 10:45 a.m. between the Colonials and Dukes. Varsity 4 action follows at 11:00 a.m., and the competition concludes with the Second Varsity 8 at 11:15 a.m. and Varsity 8 at 11:30 a.m.
 
It's A Celebration – At the conclusion of competition, RMU will honor its Class of 2021 with Senior Day festivities. A total of eight student-athletes will be competing for the final time during the regular season against the Dukes. Included among that group is Francesca Barchetti, Taylor Boczar, Madelyn Green, Rachel Gress, Nicole Kristof, Mia Krolczyk, Molly McGuire and coxswain Kestra Harris.
 
Viewfinder – Spectators can use Washington's Landing as well as the 40th Street Bridge to view the competition against RMU and Duquesne. For a view of the finish line, the best spot is the 31st Street Bridge.
 
On The Docket – RMU, tabbed fifth in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Preseason Poll in February, travels to Pennsauken Township, N.J., for the 2021 MAAC Championships Sunday, May 16, at Cooper River Park.
