Moon Township, Pa. – The RMU rowing team had 15 student-athletes named 2021 National Scholar-Athletes by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA).
To be considered, a student-athlete must be in their second year of eligibility, rowed in her institution's NCAA eligible boat for a minimum of 75 percent of spring competitions and own a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher.

Harris compiled a 3.80 cumulative GPA in earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication, while Green earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing while finishing with a 3.99 GPA. Gress also earned a Bachelor of Science, posting a 3.93 GPA as a biology major, while Kristof owned a double major of marketing and sport management and earned a BSBA with a 3.98 GPA.

Also earning a degree this spring from RMU and earning 2021 CRCA National Scholar-Athlete status was Krolczyk, who posted a 3.99 GPA while earning a Bachelor of Science in engineering, and McGuire, who was a biology major and earned a Bachelor of Science with a 3.87 GPA.
Beck is a mathematics major who owns a cumulative GPA of 3.73, while Grubbs is studying nuclear medicine technology and has posted a GPA of 3.70. Orlando has compiled a 3.81 GPA as an engineering major, while Sanner is pursuing a degree in statistics & predictive analysis while maintaining a 3.95 GPA. Brunette, earning her first CRCA National Scholar-Athlete honor, is an organizational leadership major with a 3.69 GPA.
Led by first-year head coach
Carol Schoenecker, as a program during the 2020-21 academic year the Colonials posted a team GPA of 3.553.
