Moon Township, Pa. – The Robert Morris University men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to Wright State on Saturday afternoon in Horizon League action at, the North Athletic Complex.
With the loss, the Colonials fall to 3-5-1 overall this season with a 2-2-1 mark in conference action. Meanwhile, the Raiders improve to 3-3-4 overall behind a 3-0-2 mark in league play.

Wright State took control early as they tested sophomore goalkeeper
Friedrich Petrelli, who registered two saves in the opening nine minutes. In the 13th minute, sophomore
Charlie Lawrence looked to give RMU the lead as his shot sailed over the crossbar. The Raiders continued to be aggressive on offense, as they recorded five shots and two corner kicks over the next seven minutes. Petrelli carded three more saves over that seven-minute span. The Colonials had a late push to end the half when sophomore
Connor Hain fired a shot that missed top left of the net.
In the second half, Wright State got on the board just five minutes in when Reece Allbaugh found the right side of the net, off a feed from Jacob Adams. The Raiders stretched their lead in the 55th minute, when Nicolas Likulia put a cross into the box that found Presten Manthey, who beat Petrelli to the right, 2-0. In the 70th minute, Wright State extended its lead when Allbaugh found the back of the net for the second time of the game, assisted by Cole Werthmuller. The Raiders held Robert Morris to only one shot in the second half, which came in the 85th minute.
