Moon Township, Pa. – The Robert Morris men's lacrosse team announced its 2023 schedule Tuesday, which includes seven home games at Joe Walton Stadium as well as five non-conference contests.
The Colonials open its 2023 campaign and second season in the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) on January 28
th at Ohio State University for an exhibition game. They then travel out to Greensburg, Pa. to take on Seton Hill University in another exhibition tilt (2/4).
Regular season play picks up on February 11
th, as the Colonials travel out to Lewisburg, Pa., to face Bucknell University.
The home opener for RMU is the following game. They will host St. Bonaventure University on February 21
st.
After facing the Bonnies, the schedule includes three more non-conference games. RMU plays at Canisius College (2/25), welcomes Hobart College (3/4) in Moon Township, and wraps up non-conference in North Carolina against High Point University (3/11).
RMU starts conference play on March 18
th hosting Jacksonville University. The following week they take on Cleveland State University (3/25), also at Joe Walton Stadium.
Next up, the Colonials go on a two-game road trip playing Detroit Mercy (3/29) and Mercer University (4/1). After two games away, RMU hosts the next two conference games vs. Utah (4/8) and Bellarmine (4/12).
Continuing the month of April, RMU travels down to North Carolina to face Queens University of Charlotte (4/15). The last home game of the season will be against Lindenwood (4/22), and in the final game of the season, the team heads out to Colorado to take on Air Force (4/29) for the last conference test.

After a historic season winning the ASUN Championship this past season against Utah 18-17, RMU will be hosting the ASUN tournament in 2023, on May 2-7, at Joe Walton Stadium in Moon Township, Pa.
The Colonials in 2022 owned a 10-6 overall record, going 4-1 in conference and made it to the NCAA First Round in head coach
