Stony Brook Stalls Colonial Comeback

Corson Kealey scores six in Stony Brook loss.

Stony Brook, N.Y. – Despite a seven-goal run in the second quarter, the Robert Morris University men's lacrosse team was unable to successfully pull off a victory over the Stony Brook Seawolves. The 18-14 loss moves the Colonials to 0-3 on the season.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
After giving up seven unanswered goals in the first seven minutes of the game, the Colonials got to work to stage a comeback. They were able to successfully balance the scoreboard with two goals from Taggart Clark, three goals from Corson Kealey, and Ben Starkey's equalizer at 5:11 of the second quarter.
Despite Noah Armitage reclaiming the lead, Kealey was able to not only tie the game, but give the Colonials their first lead of the season.

Despite the strong play in the second and fourth quarters, the third was detrimental to RMU's success, with Stony Brook going on a five-goal run before the Colonials were once again able to close in. Unfortunately, Corson Kealey's sixth goal of the game was not enough to push RMU to their first win of the season.

NEW CAREER HIGH
