Darren Gray saw his header sail right of the post in the 44th minute, to keep it a 1-1 game heading into the half. Robert Morris held an 8-2 shot advantage in the opening stanza.
Similar to the first half, the Dukes regained the lead just two minutes in when Harper Cook put a cross into the box that saw Cameron Territo put a header into the right side of the net, to give them a 2-1 lead. Duquesne made it difficult on the Colonials in the second half as their efficient defense held Robert Morris to just one shot.
