Opening Tip
- The Robert Morris women's basketball team concludes its Wisconsin trip when it travels to Green Bay on Sunday afternoon in Horizon League play at the Kress Center.
- Last time out, the Colonials dropped a 72-60 contest at Milwaukee. Sophomore Phoenix Gedeon registered her eighth double-double of the season, recording 20 points and 10 rebounds.
- Sophomore guard Alejandra Mastral finished with 11 points, while registering a team-high four assists and collected two steals. She also added three triples on the afternoon.
- Classmate Rebecca Dwomoh chipped in seven points and sophomore guard Simone Morris finished with six points, four boards, and went 4-of-6 from the charity stripe.
- RMU snapped a five-game losing streak last Saturday (1/14/23) against IUPUI, capturing a 69-63 victory at the UPMC Events Center.
- Gedeon led the way against the Jaguars with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. She converted five-of-nine from the floor and finished 7-of-8 from the free throw line.
- Dwomoh recorded 17 points, six caroms, and two steals while knocking down five triples from distance. Junior guard Mackenzie Amalia and sophomore center Danielle Vuletich each registered 11 points and five boards, while Amalia carded five assists.
- RMU had their second-best performance in Horizon League action this year from behind the arc, as they shot 10-for-23 (.435).

The All-Time Series (GB) – It'll be the third all-time meeting between the Colonials and Phoenix come Sunday afternoon. Green Bay has swept the only two contests, capturing a 57-41 victory last season (2/5/22).
Mackenzie Amalia recorded nine points, four boards, and two assists and drilled three three-pointers.
Sol Castro paced the Colonials with seven rebounds in the loss. Through two contests, the Phoenix is averaging 60.0 points per game and holding the Colonials to just 42.5 It'll be a clash between the top two defensive three-point teams in the Horizon League come Sunday afternoon. RMU sits first in the conference and Green Bay right behind them.
Scouting the Phoenix – Green Bay comes into Sundays contest having their 12-game win streak snapped, after falling 63-60 against Youngstown State on Friday night. The Phoenix hold a 14-4 overall record with a 7-2 mark in conference play and currently sit tied for second in the Horizon League. Two players were in doubles figures, Cassie Schiltz and Jasmine Kondrakiewicz paced Green Bay with 15 points each. They combined for a perfect eight-for-eight from the free-throw line and 10-of-20 shooting from the field. Bailey Butler chipped in eight points and finished with a team leading six rebounds and six assists. Green Bay sits atop the Horizon League in defense, holding teams to just 54.4 points per game and 33.9 percent shooting from the floor. The Phoenix are shooting 44.6 percent from the field, which is good for first in the league. Sydney Levy leads the team with 10.6 points per game and is shooting just under 40 percent from distance. Maddy Schreiber is scoring 9.9 points per game while shooting 53.4 percent from the floor.
On Another Level – Sophomore forward
Phoenix Gedeon has been on a tear this last month, averaging 15.6 points and 9.4 boards per game. She posted her eighth double-double of the season against the Panthers scoring 20 points and 10 caroms. In her past eight games, the Montreal, Quebec product has put up six double-doubles, five of those have been against conference opponents. Gedeon has registered 20 points three times this season and has carded 10 or more boards eight times this season.
Stout Off The Bench – The RMU bench has been very productive for the Colonials this season.
Danielle Vuletich continues to produce for RMU, averaging eight points and four boards. She is shooting 50.9 percent from the field and an impressive 81.8 percent from the charity stripe. Freshman guard
Louella Allana is another player giving the Colonials solid minutes this season. In the last three games, she's averaging over seven points, four rebounds, and two assists a game, while playing just over 21 minutes.
