"I'm extremely excited to be a part of the 2023-24 United Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 class," said Murgi. "I know that being in this program will allow me to continue to learn and get better as a coach for the team. I'm thankful for this opportunity and looking forward to the upcoming year in the program."

Launched in 2013, the 30 Under 30 Program is a year-long education and mentorship opportunity designed to support up-and-coming members of the coaching profession who are 30 years of age or younger. Through this program, young coaches will be paired with mentors, connect with other young coaches, have the opportunity to attend convention and education courses at a discounted rate, and join a vast network of 30 Under 30 Program alumni.

United Soccer Coaches highlights members of the 30 Under 30 Program throughout the year across a variety of platforms, including Soccer Journal, the United Soccer Coaches Podcast, and the association's official social media channels.

"Bri has done a fantastic job for RMU during her time here," stated head coach Chris Shaw. "It's no surprise she was selected for the 30 Under 30 Program. She is passionate about soccer and wants to learn and develop as a coach, so this is a great opportunity for her. I couldn't be happier for her, as I know she is very excited about her selection."

Murgi has helped lead the Colonials to one of their most successful seasons in program history. The team this year has posted a 10-3-3 overall record in the 2023 campaign and has won four games in Horizon League play, which is the most in one season since joining the conference in 2020.

With the selection in the 30 Under 30 Program, Murgi will receive an array of benefits, including a mentor, publishing opportunities in the Soccer Journal and a feature on the United Soccer Coaches Podcast.

Additional benefits include exposure on UnitedSoccerCoaches.org and special 30 Under 30 programming.

During the course of the program, candidates are asked to attend a United Soccer Coaches Advance Diploma course, contribute educational or training articles for use by United Soccer Coaches, participate in group presentations to be presented at the United Soccer Coaches convention, appear on their podcast and be prepared to contribute additional content for further exposure as assigned.
