MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Five players scored in double-figures in RMU's 95-46 wire-to-wire victory over Saint Vincent Sunday afternoon at the UPMC Events Center.
 
Alvaro Folgueiras' led the Colonials (3-8) with a double-double of 11 points and 15 rebounds – both career-highs. Stephaun Walker added a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Markeese Hastings and Josh Corbin each had 16 points and nine rebounds. TJ Wainwright added 14 points in the win.
 
Mike  Iuzzolino, Jr. and Dev Ostrowski each scored 15 points for the Bearcats (10-1), who suffer their first loss of the season.
 
RMU came out of the gates early, building a 20-9 lead in the game's first five minutes. A 10-0 run sparked by a Folgueiras layup at 7:05 and capped by a pair of Corbin free throws with 5:05 remaining gave the Colonials a commanding 22-point advantage at 43-21. RMU would take an imposing 49-26 lead into halftime.
 
The Colonials opened the 2^nd half on a 15-3 run, making the score 64-29 at 14:49. Walker's dunk at the midway point of the half gave RMU its first 40+ lead of the game, 76-35. Tanner O'Grady and Vasilije Serafimoski closed out the scoring in the final 52 seconds for the Colonials.
 
"Today, we tried to have as many winning plays and winning possessions as we can," said head coach Andrew Toole. "That was the focus of today and I thought our guys did a good job."
 
­­­The 95 points was the second-highest RMU scored this season (97, FDU) and 60 rebounds along with 35 field goals were team season-highs. The Colonials had 20 second chance points to SVC's one and dominated the paint 50-10.

Up next, RMU travels to Loretto, Pa. to face Saint Francis U December 20. The next game at the UPMC Events Center is against Cornell December 22.
