The All-Time Series (Bucknell) – Dating back to 2002, the Colonials and Bison have played each other seven times. RMU will look to earn their second win all-time against Bucknell's program. The last two games in this series were neck and neck till overtime. In 2017 and 2018, both games went to overtime when the NCAA rule had overtime still in regular season games. The Bison came away with the win both times, including a late game winner in double-overtime in 2017.

Scouting the Bison – Last year, Bucknell finished the campaign with a 3-12-2 overall record. In the Patriot League conference, the Bison were 2-5-2. Their three wins came against Saint Peter's, Lehigh and Holy Cross. The Bison's leading scorer from last year graduated. Forward Mo Tall produced three goals and three assists in 2022 for Bucknell. Returning to the lineup is forward Zane Domsohn, who put in three goals as a freshman. There were also four players in the squad that had two assists each. Sophomore goalie Freddie Lapworth split time with goalkeeper Bennett Schwartz. In Lapworth's freshman campaign, he made 40 saves and earned two wins. So far in 2023, the Bison are 1-1 through two non-conference games. Playing both on the road, they beat Mount St. Mary's, 2-1, and lost at West Virginia, 2-0. Aidan Kieffer and Charlie Holmes both scored in their win against Mount St. Mary's.

DEPTH SCORING
For the first two games of the season, the Colonials have shot in six goals with six different goal scorers. Victor Koah, Alex Lorigny, Gabe Norris, Kyler Miller, Anass Hadran and Nolan Hutter have all scored one goal. Koah put in the first of the season, and Hutter's magical header went in against Niagara, scoring his first goal for RMU. John Paul Mbuthia, Kosi Udeh and Darren Gray have all added one helper each, and freshman defender Tim Koczulap leads the team in assists with two. 10 Colonials have already produced a point in the 2023 campaign, proving the squad has depth.
