MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Mercyhurst cashed in on the power-play four times to win, 6-1 over the Colonials. RMU is now 8-15-0 overall and 5-6-0 in the CHA. Mercyhurst moves up to 12-12-1 overall and 8-3-0 in conference action.Â

- The Lakers scored the first goal of the game on the power-play with three seconds left on RMU's penalty kill.Â

- Mercyhurst added in three more goals in the middle frame. Two of them came on the power-play and one was scored at even-strength.Â

- The away side tallied their fourth power-play goal of the game, early into the final period.Â
- Moments later, the Lakers bashed in their sixth score of the day.Â
- With under four minutes left in the game, RMU scored.
Gillian Thompson from distance slapped in the Colonial's only goal in the contest. Chloé Puddifant and
Shailynn Snow assisted on the play.

Jersey Phillips won a team-high nine faceoffs. On the defensive end,
Courtney Hall and Chloé Puddifant each recorded four blocks. All of Hall's blocks happened in the first 20 minutes. Gilliam Thompson and
Mya Neugent both finished the game with a +1.

PUDDIFANT'S POINT STREAK
For the fifth straight game, graduate defenseman Chloé Puddifant has dished out an assist in each contest. Producing a point in five consecutive games is now a career best for the alternate captain. On the year, she's registered one goal and 12 assists. Her 12 helpers are tied first on the roster and fifth-most in the CHA conference.
