MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Seven players scored in double-figures in RMU's 92-48 victory over IUPUI (5-11, 1-4 HL) Thursday night at UPMC Events Center. The 44-point win is the largest margin of victory in a Horizon League contest all-time for the Colonials (4-11, 1-4 HL).
 
1^st HALF
After falling behind in the first four minutes, RMU used a 15-2 run to take an 18-8 lead at 12:11. TJ Wainwright's jumper put the Colonials ahead by 20 points at 42-22 as they took a 44-24 lead into halftime. For the third straight home game, RMU scored 40+ points in the 1^st half.
 
2^nd HALF
The Colonials maintained the momentum starting the half of a 15-4 run to extend its lead to 59-28. Vasilije Serafimoski gave RMU its largest lead of the contest at 46 points on his first career 3-pointer with 10 seconds remaining.
 
THE SUPER SEVEN
Josh Corbin led all scorers with 15 points and collected his 800^th career point. Markeese Hastings had 14 points and a game-high eight rebounds – surpassing 700 for his career. Both Justice Williams and Alvaro Folgueiras scored 12 while Stephaun Walker, Wainwright and Chris Ford added 10 points each. Corbin and Folgueiras each had five assists.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
RMU's 38 field goals, .613 shooting percentage and 21 assists were all season-highs. It also marked the third time this season the Colonials scored 92+ points. The Colonials outrebounded the Jaguars 39-22 and outscored then 50-22 in the paint.
 
UP NEXT
RMU's homestand continues January 10 when it hosts Wright State. The Colonials remain at home to host Purdue Fort Wayne January 12 and Detroit Mercy January 17.
