LOUISVILLE - The RMU Men's and Women's Cross Country teams returned to competition this morning at the Live in Lou Classic.
 
The women's team began the day with a 5k, finished 12^th of 27 teams, ahead of Oakland, Northern Kentucky and host Louisville. In the field of 263 runners, the Colonials had a pair of Top 30 runners in Samantha Hennen (17:30.8/23^rd) and Julia Dill (17:33.0/26^th).
 
On the men's side, RMU was 9^th out of 30 teams. Colten Morris led the way with an 18^th place finish (25:20.8) in a 323 runner field. Ryan Paris (25:49.6/46^th) and Tyler Paszkowski (25:49.6/48^th) all had Top 50 finishes.
 
Up next, the Colonials return to Pittsburgh on October 12 for the Carnegie Mellon Invitational at Schenley Park.
