MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Anthony Chiccitt's 82-yard touchdown to
Shawn Charles was the only score of the game as RMU extended its winning streak to four games after its 6-0 shutout over Merrimack on Saturday afternoon.
Chiccitt found Charles in stride at midfield as he sprinted the rest of the way into the endzone for the score. The extra point was no good.
Charles finished the contest two yards shy of his career-best with 139 yards on five catches. Chiccitt was 23-of-32 for 236 yards.
Julian White led the Colonials on the ground with 63 yards.
The RMU defense, which recorded its second straight shutout was led by
Keon Freeman with a career-high 17 tackles on the afternoon. He was aided by
Jamar Shegog with 15. The Colonials held the Warrior to 4-of-13 on 3
rd down attempts and 117 yards through the air.
Up next, first place is on the line when RMU visits Duquesne on November 9. Kickoff at Rooney Field is noon. The Dukes (6-2, 3-0 NEC) are coming off a 31-24 victory over Mercyhurst earlier this afternoon.

- This is the first time since 1996 RMU has recorded back-to-back shutouts and three shutout in a season
- Chiccitt has hit a new single-season career-high 1,735 yards this season
