DAYTON, Ohio. – The Colonials fell on the road against Wright State on Saturday afternoon to close out the season series with the Raiders.
 
With the loss, the Colonials fall to 9-16, 4-10 HL while the Raiders move to 21-4, 13-1 HL.
 
KEY SET MOMENTS
	- RMU showed up ready to battle in the first set taking an early 11-10 lead thanks to three blocks and five attack errors from the Raiders. However, with the score tied at 13, Wright State would go on a 12-2 run to close out the set.
 
	- The Colonials struggled mightily on offense in the second stanza as they trailed 6-0 early then a few minutes later saw themselves down 15-3. RMU only scored eight points in the set as that's the lowest tally that the Colonials have this season in one set.
 
	- Just like the first set, RMU came out strong in the third stanza opening up a 6-5 lead courtesy of two Jocelyn Jourdan kills and two errors from Wright State. The tide quickly shifted to the Raiders as they scored 11 out of the next 14 points to take a 16-9 lead. Wright State had a match-high 19 kills with a .654 hit percentage in the set to help them win the match.
 
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
Jocelyn Jourdan led the Colonials with six kills with 
Ashleigh Wallin leading the squad with 10 assists. This is the lone match this season where the Colonials didn't record a service ace.
 
UP NEXT
The Colonials will come back home next weekend when they host Milwaukee for a two-match set starting next Friday night at 6 p.m. RMU will have their Senior Day celebration next Saturday before the match that starts at 1 p.m.
