QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS
Q1: The Colonials got off to a quick start as senior transfer
Raissa Nsabua made each of her first three shots in the first two minutes of action. Point Park would battle back as both teams exchanged points throughout the middle of the quarter. It was RMU who would end the quarter on a high note as the Colonials went on an 8-1 run to close out the first stanza with
Danielle Vuletich scoring four points on that run.
Q2: RMU didn't play their best basketball in the second frame shooting just 25 percent from the floor making four baskets on 16 attempts. This was the only quarter in which Point Park outscored the Colonials as the Pioneers tried to close the deficit but RMU managed to hold a five point lead at the half.
Q3: The Colonials came out of the break ready to score with RMU converting on over 57 percent of their shots in the frame. It wasn't just the offense as the RMU defense held the Pioneers to just six points from the floor. The Colonials would take complete control of the paint in this frame outscoring the Pioneers 14-6 from the inside area.
Q4: RMU would pick up where they left off in the third quarter and convert on a game-high nine field goals in the fourth frame. The Colonials spread the ball around in the final quarter as seven different Colonials scored with
Isys Grady making the lone three-pointer for the home team. RMU would outscore Point Park 20-10 in the fourth quarter and go on to win 68-44.

QUOTABLES
Head coach
Chandler McCabe spoke after the game and first gave her initial thoughts of the performance of her team. McCabe stated, "Yeah, never too high, never too low. You know, really happy that we got the win against a really, really good team, but got a lot to work on. You know, saw some really good things, saw some things we really need to adjust and correct. Obviously, a big game on Saturday, but you know, definitely going to let them celebrate a little bit, especially the returners for break at that, that lost streak. But some good stuff, some bad stuff. And you know, the main goal of this team is to just get better every single day, and so tomorrow, we plan on being a little better than we were today." McCabe then closed her statement by saying how it felt on her first game on the sidleines as a Colonial," I have coached a couple of games before, not like I'm a vet or anything, but you know, definitely having a crowd behind us helps so, so so much. You know, other athletics staffs were there and getting rowdy for us, and our girls really buy in and feed into that. But you know, for me, a win is a win. It's not about me, it's about these girls.
