MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa.  – RMU (7-5) scored the final eight points of the game including Kam Woods' game-winning jumper with 16 seconds left in the Colonials 68-67 victory over Towson (4-8) on Tuesday night at the UPMC Events Center.
 
1^st HALF
Towson took control of the 1^st half, going ahead by 10 points at the midway point. Tejada's 3-pointer at the 3:24 mark made the score 37-18 and gave the Tigers its largest lead of the game at 19 points. He closed out the half with another 3-pointer that sent Towson into halftime leading 40-24.   
 
2^nd HALF
RMU began the 2^nd half on a 22-5 run – including scoring 12 straight points capped by a Ryan Prather Jr. 3-pointer that gave RMU a 46-45 lead at 12:51.However, Towson would respond with a 13-2 run to regain a double-digit lead at 58-48 with 8:07 remaining. Trailing by nine points with 6:07 left, RMU hit six straight free throws to make it a one-possession game at 61-58 at the 4:37 mark. The Tigers would increase their lead to 67-60 with 1:40 to play before six straight points from Amarion Dickerson and Woods' game winner. TU had a chance to win the game at the buzzer, but Christian May had his shot blocked by Josh Omojafo and rebounded by Dickerson to seal the win.

• Dickerson finished with a team-high 18 points, Omojafo added 15 and Woods 12
• Alvaro Folgueiras pulled down a game-high eight rebounds
• Towson's Tyler Tejada led all scorers with 30 points
• RMU lead for 73 seconds the entire game

UP NEXT
RMU remains at the UPMC Events Center for the next two games beginning with its nonconference finale against Saint Francis U (4-8) on Saturday, December 21. The Red Flash lost 111-57 to Maryland earlier tonight. The Colonials return to Horizon League play on Sunday December 29 against Northern Kentucky.
