USAFO, CO – Last night, the Falcons 3-0 lead pulled Air Force ahead to a 5-2 victory. The Colonials are now 10-22-3 overall and 7-16-2 in the Atlantic Hockey conference. Air Force is now 17-17-1 overall in the 2023-24 campaign and are 14-10-1 in AHA action.
1st PERIOD
- In the opening 20 minutes, the Falcons scored two goals to take an early 2-0 advantage.
- Air Force led in shots on goal, 9-6.
2nd PERIOD
- Two minutes into the middle frame, the Falcons added to their lead. Andrew DeCarlo dished an assist out on all three of Air Force's tallies.
- Halfway through the period, Tanner Klimpke put in the Colonials first goal. Off Cade Townend's slap shot from the point, the puck was loose and Klimpke buried in his team leading 12th goal of the season.
- Later in the period, each side scored a power play goal.
- For RMU, captain Rylee St. Onge tipped in the puck, redirecting in Luke Johnson's slap shot from the right side.
- With under two minutes left, the Falcons while shorthanded scored a breakaway goal to extend their lead to 5-2.
3rd PERIOD
- In the final period, neither time scored.
- RMU fought back offensively and outshot Air Force, 11-8 during the final 20 minutes.

th career game. In last night's contest he dished out one assist on the power play. Across his career, he's produced four goals and 18 assists, totaling 22 points.
