Opening Draw
  • The Colonials women's lacrosse team will close out their five-game road trip when they travel to play Mount St Mary's on Tuesday afternoon.
  • In their last contest, RMU recorded their first win of the season in a 13-8 victory over Queens last Friday.
  • The Colonials had three different goal scorers who registered a hat trick with Lilli Hadden, Isabella Teal, and Jerica Obee all scoring three goals to lead RMU.
  • Jenna Irwin notched two goals while Julia Koterwas and Samantha Brothers each tallied one goal. Sydney Riker established career highs in saves (16) and ground balls (5) against Queens.
  • Through seven games, Colleen Tifft leads the team with 12 points as she has eight goals and four assists this season. Lilli Hadden leads the Colonials with 10 goals in seven games to date.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES (MOUNT ST. MARY'S) – The long-standing history between these two schools will continue tomorrow as this will be the 15th matchup in series history. The series record is 7-7 with the last matchup taking place during the 2019 season. The last RMU victory against the Mount came in 2018 when the Colonials won 14-4 at Joe Walton Stadium. The home team has been more successful in the series as RMU has a 6-1 record at home and just a 1-5 record on the road.

SCOUTING THE MOUNTIES – Mount St. Mary's will carry a 1-5 record into Tuesday's matchup as their lone win came against Bucknell on March 3rd. The Mounties are led by senior attack Mackenzi Furlong who has 19 points in six games including a team-high 13 goals and six assists. Mount St. Mary's finished last season with a 4-13 record in their first season as a member of the MAAC.

KEEP GOING – On Saturday afternoon against Queens, Julia Koterwas joined Colleen Tifft as the only active Colonials with at least 100 points. The two graduate students will look to climb up the RMU record books as both players are in position to make substantial jumps in the RMU hierarchy of women's lacrosse.

RUN IT BACK – Joining the Mid-American Conference in 2021, the Colonials have been making a name for themselves the past three seasons. In RMU's first season in the MAC they were crowned champions and the past two years have made the championship game but fell both times to Central Michigan.
