MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's track and field team has its only home event of the season on Friday when it hosts the Benson/Hodge Memorial Invitational
at the P3R Track & Field Complex.
ABOUT THE EVENT
The event is named after two integral figures in program history, Gerald "Bennie" Benson and Bill Hodge. Benson, a 1991 RMC graduate, continued his career as an assistant track and field coach and assistant athletic director for the Colonials. Hodge led the RMC women's indoor track & field team to the Northeast Conference championship in 1998 and the men's indoor track & field squad to the NEC title in 1999.
