ST. CHARLES, Mo. –
Elliot Holden's goal with 4:08 remaining in regulation gave RMU an important 10-9 victory over Lindenwood on Saturday afternoon. The Colonials improve to 5-8 overall and 4-4 in the ASUN while the Lions fall to 0-11, 0-8 ASUN.
1st QUARTER
RMU scored the first three goals of the match, with
River Oudemool finding the back of the net first and
David Burr following with back-to-back goals.
Liam Blakely recorded his first of the year followed by
Will MacLeod's behind the back score with two seconds remaining to make the score 5-1.
2nd QUARTER
Oudemool scored the only goal for RMU as Lindenwood cut the deficit to one goal at 6-5 heading into halftime.
3rd QUARTER
The Lions took its first lead of the match at 7-6 with 9:11 left on the clock.
Ben Starkey tied the match before Lindenwood scored twice in 10 seconds. Holden scored with 20 seconds left on a man down to make the score 9-8 heading into the final frame.
4th QUARTER
Blakely tied the match at the 11:03 mark before Holden's game-winner seven minutes later.

UP NEXT
The Colonials play their final regular season contest of the year when they host Air Force on April 27. This will also be RMU's Senior Day. The Falcons (8-5, 7-1 ASUN) suffered its first conference setback of the season earlier today, falling to Jacksonville 10-9 in overtime.
