SALT LAKE CITY – Utah outscored RMU 7-1 in the second half in its 14-6 victory on Friday evening. With the setback, RMU falls to 3-7, 2-3 ASUN while Utah improves to 6-4, 4-1 ASUN.
1st QUARTER
Utah took an early lead before
David Burr tied the match at 1-1 at 11:46. The Utes scored three straight times before
Gavin Pedone's goal made the score 4-2.
2nd QUARTER
Ben Starkey's goal 25 seconds into the quarter got RMU within one goal. Utah would go ahead 5-3 before Starkey and
Elliot Holden scored 72 seconds apart to tie the match at 5-5. The Utes would score the next two goals to take a 7-5 lead into halftime.
3rd QUARTER
Holden had the only RMU goal as Utah took a 10-6 advantage into the final frame.
4th QUARTER
Utah held the Colonials scoreless while adding four goals in the quarter.

RMU remains on the road for a midweek match at Bellarmine on April 10. The Colonials return to Joe Walton Stadium on April 13 for a matinee contest against Queens on April 13.
