Opening Draw

• RMU women's lacrosse will hit the road as they'll prepare to face Central Michigan in a big conference matchup on Sunday afternoon.
• Most recently, the Colonials lost their first MAC contest last Saturday against Detroit Mercy, 12-9.
• Jenna Irwin led RMU on the stat sheet as she tallied a team-high three goals while also recording four draw controls and two ground balls. Meanwhile, six other Colonials scored one goal with Jordan Anderson registering a team-high seven draw controls.
• Megan Shepley and Sydney Riker split time in net for RMU with Shepley recording a team-high five saves.
• The Colonials have three players with over 20 points so far this year as Jenna Irwin leads the squad with 25 points. Lilli Hadden sits at 22 points with 16 goals scored and Colleen Tifft has 20 points off of 12 goals and a team-high eight assists.
   

THE ALL-TIME SERIES (CENTRAL MICHIGAN) – These two teams have played several close games in their history with the Colonials leading the series 6-3. Last year, both teams played each other twice with RMU winning the regular season matchup but the Chippewas won the second contest in the MAC championship game, 15-12. Colleen Tifft and Chelsea Coleman each scored three goals in the championship with Tifft recording a game-high eight shots on goal.

SCOUTING THE CHIPPEWAS – Central Michigan goes into Sunday's matchup with a 2-11 overall record but both of their wins have come in conference play against Youngstown State and Detroit Mercy. Junior attacker Skye DePrado leads the Chippewas with 26 points as she also has a team-high 23 goals this season.

RUN IT BACK – Joining the Mid-American Conference in 2021, the Colonials have been making a name for themselves the past three seasons. In RMU's first season in the MAC they were crowned champions and the past two years have made the championship game but fell both times to Central Michigan.
