RICHMOND, Ky.. – Eastern Kentucky outscored Robert Morris 21-0 in the 2nd half in its 31-7 victory at Roy Kidd Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
After falling behind 7-0 early in the 1st quarter,
Noah Robinson hauled in a flea flicker from
Shawn Charles for a 19 yard touchdown with 9:59 remaining in the 2nd quarter. The Colonels (3-2) went ahead on a 23 yard field as time expired to send the game into halftime leading 10-7.
EKU would score three touchdowns and hold the Colonials (2-3) scoreless in the 2nd half.
Robinson finished the game with nine catches for 89 yards.
Keon Freeman made 10 tackles, eight solo.
Jacquez Warren added nine stops and
Jamar Shegog eight for RMU.
After a week off, the Colonials return to Joe Walton Stadium for Homecoming against Delaware State on October 12.
