MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's hockey team is set to close out the regular season with six consecutive home games, beginning with a two-game series against No. 8 Penn State. The series opener is scheduled for Friday, January 31, with the finale on Saturday, February 1. Both games will face off at 3:00 PM at Clearview Arena.
Friday's contest will air live on SportsNet Pittsburgh, while both games will be available to stream on FloHockey. Commentary will be provided by Gero von Dehn and Bob Kennedy.

Sophomore goaltender
Maggie Hatch reached a major milestone last weekend, surpassing 1,500 career saves. Since arriving at RMU, she has registered 16 wins, three shutouts, and a .920 career save percentage. This season, her .919 save percentage ranks fifth in the AHA.
ALL-TIME VS. PENN STATE
Since 2012, RMU and Penn State have faced off 44 times, with the Colonials holding a 24-12-8 (.636) all-time record. The Colonials have averaged 3.07 goals per game in the series and hold a 12-5-3 record when hosting the Nittany Lions at Clearview Arena.
Historically, RMU dominated the early matchups, winning eight straight from 2012-2014. The series has been tightly contested, featuring 10 overtime games, with RMU shutting out Penn State five times.
