CLEVELAND - Cleveland State swept (25-22, 25-20, 27-25) over Robert Morris 3-0 on Friday night.

Jocelyn Jourdan led all players with 17 kills and had a .316 hitting percentage.
Natalie Stepanovich recorded a double-double with 11 kills and 15 digs and
Kaitlyn Brown set up the offense with 37 assists.
Set 1: Cleveland State 25, Robert Morris 22
Cleveland State had built a seemingly comfortable lead, holding an eight-point advantage at 19-11. However, RMU launched a massive surge, going on a 7-1 run to suddenly pull within two points, 20-18. Cleveland State managed to hold off the Colonials attack and close out the set, 25-22, to take the early 1-0 match lead.

Set 2: Cleveland State 25, Robert Morris 20
The Colonials started strong, establishing a comfortable five-point lead at 14-9. However, the Vikings went on a 12-2 run, completely swinging the momentum and the score to take a commanding 21-16 lead. RMU managed to hold off two set points by the Vikings, but a kill by Chloe List gave the Vikings the 25-20 win and a 2-0 lead in the match.

Set 3: Cleveland State 27, Robert Morris 25
The third set was back-and-forth, marked by nine ties and four lead changes. RMU earned a set point at 25-24 to try and extend the match. However, Cleveland State answered with a kill by JeriLynn Koehler and tie the score at 25-25. Allison Salazar stepped up to serve and delivered back-to-back aces, winning the set 27-25 and clinching the sweep for the Vikings.
