HOW IT HAPPENED
After

The hosts continued to apply pressure later in the half, but goalkeeper

The Colonials nearly equalized several times before the break — Hurst had two more chances denied,
Malia Kearns saw both her efforts saved, and
Jillian Marvin rattled the crossbar in the 42nd minute.
RMU finally broke through in the second half. In the 69th minute,
Ava Trethewey made a strong move down the right wing and delivered a pinpoint cross to the back post, where Hurst rose up to head home the equalizer.
Both sides produced one more shot on target in the final 20 minutes, but neither could find a winner as the match ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
