MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Robert Morris (3-7, 2-3 NEC) travels to Mercyhurst (4-5, 3-2 NEC) on Saturday in what is officially the first NEC meeting between the two universities. Kickoff at Saxon Stadium is noon. The game will be available to stream on NEC Front Row.
 
MERCYHURST LATELY           
Mercyhurst quarterback Adam Urena connected with Dylan Evans for the game-winning 15-yard score with 20 seconds remaining to erase a late Saint Francis lead in its 16-15 victory. This came after the Red Flash took a 15-13 lead on a field goal with 1:07 remaining in the contest.
 
THE SERIES                 
Robert Morris leads the all-time series 3-2, in a series that started in 1994. RMU won the most recent matchup 55-28 last season. While the teams have played five times previously, this weekend marks their first official NEC conference contest.
 
LAST TIME OUT                      
RMU jumped out to a 21-0 lead and never trailed, fueled by quarterback Anthony Chiccitt's five touchdown passes and 307 yards on September 14, 2024.
 
DID YOU KNOW?       
RMU is 6-4 all-time against colleges in Erie, Pa. In addition to being 3-2 against Mercyhurst, the Colonials are also 3-2 against Gannon.
 
LOOKING AHEAD
The season finale is November 22 at home against Duquesne. This will be Senior Day as the RMU Football Class of 2025 will be recognized in a pregame ceremony.
