DUQUESNE LATELY
Duquesne defeated Central Connecticut State in a 38-33 shootout last Saturday, powered by running back Taj Butts' career-high 254 yards and three touchdowns. The victory was sealed when defensive back Antonio Epps made an interception in the end zone in the final seconds
THE SERIES
Saturday marks the 23rd installment of the series. Duquesne leads 14-8 overall, 9-4 in NEC play and 9-2 at Rooney Field. The series began in RMU's inaugural season in 1994 with games in 1995, 1996 and 1998. The teams played 17 straight seasons from 2003 until 2019.
LAST TIME OUT
Duquesne scored the game's first 24 points in its 31-6 victory over RMU on November 9, 2024.
DID YOU KNOW?
Two players have been on both sides of the series. Alvin Hill was on Duquesne's roster during the 2004 season before transferring to Robert Morris the following year. Trey Harper played the 2015 season at RMU before making his way to Duquesne for the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
