MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU women's hockey alums Raygan Kirk and Marah Wagner will open the 2025-26 campaign on Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) season-opening rosters, continuing a strong tradition of Colonials competing at the highest levels of the sport.

Kirk, a native of Ste. Anne, Manitoba, Canada, begins her second professional season with the Toronto Sceptres after an impressive rookie campaign. The standout goaltender appeared in 10 games last season, posting a 5-1-2 record while registering a 2.26 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage.

Before turning pro, Kirk spent her first two collegiate seasons at RMU, where she played a pivotal role in guiding the Colonials to the 2020-21 CHA Tournament Championship. That season, she appeared in 15 games, earning eight wins and recording a dominant 1.91 goals-against average and .939 save percentage.

Wagner, a native of Langley, British Columbia, Canada, makes her PWHL debut this season while entering her second year of professional hockey. In 2024-25, she skated in Sweden's SDHL with Skellefteå AIK, producing five goals, nine assists, and 14 points.

Like Kirk, Wagner began her collegiate career at RMU and was a key contributor to the Colonials' 2020-21 CHA Championship run. She recorded seven goals and three assists during that title-winning season.

"We're pumped for them," said Head Coach Logan Bittle. "It's great to see our alums succeeding at the professional level, especially in the PWHL. We're all rooting for them."
