INDIANAPOLIS – Three members of the RMU men's soccer program were recognized with Horizon League postseason accolades on Friday, as senior defender
Fabian Overkamp, senior midfielder
Anass Hadran, and junior goalkeeper
Josh Lane were each named to All-League Teams following standout 2025 campaigns.
Overkamp was selected to the All-Horizon League First Team, building on his Second Team recognition from a season ago. The Königswinter, Germany native has been a pillar on the Colonials' back line, appearing in all 15 matches while registering two goals and two assists. His 1,228 minutes played rank second on the roster, and his career performance vs. Detroit Mercy — two goals and an assist — earned him both Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week and TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week honors.
A leader on and off the pitch, Overkamp also collected All-Academic Team distinction this season after receiving honorable mention in 2024. He played a key role in RMU's championship run last fall, anchoring a defense that posted two shutouts en route to the program's first Horizon League title, earning All-Tournament Team honors in the process. He was also named CSC Academic All-District last season.
Hadran secured All-Conference honors for the third straight year, landing on the Second Team. He was previously a Third Team pick in 2024 and a Second Team honoree in 2023. The Beni Mallai, Morocco native has started all 15 matches this season, totaling 1,194 minutes while leading RMU in goals (4) and points (12). His 12 points rank among the top five in the Horizon League.
Across four seasons, Hadran has been one of RMU's most productive and consistent attacking midfielders. He has appeared in 65 career matches with 54 starts, recording 12 goals, 16 assists and 40 points, including three game-winners.
Lane earned All-League recognition for the second consecutive season, claiming a spot on the Third Team. The Leicester, England native has started all 15 contests in net, posting five wins, five shutouts, and 55 saves. His .764 save percentage currently ranks third in the Horizon League. Earlier this fall, he was named Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week and received honorable mention on the All-Academic Team.
Lane's résumé continues to grow following a breakout 2024 campaign in which he earned United Soccer Coaches All-North Region Third Team, Horizon League All-Tournament Team, and TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week honors. Through three seasons, he has started 37 matches, recording 15 wins and 12 shutouts.
Up next, the defending Horizon League Champions begin their postseason journey on Sunday, November 9, traveling to Milwaukee for the #HLMSOC Quarterfinals at 2:00 PM ET.
