Robert Morris University Athletics and NOCAP Revenue Solutions Announce Innovative Partnership to Fuel Long-Term Growth

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Robert Morris University (RMU) and NOCAP Revenue are excited to announce a strategic partnership that introduces a new and innovative model for generating sustainable revenue directly for the RMU Athletics Department.

At a time when the need for funding to remain competitive has never been more critical, this partnership provides a zero-cost, zero-risk solution for the university built around partnerships with trusted, nationally recognized service providers.

The model empowers businesses to reduce costs or enhance services by switching to vetted providers already serving organizations across the country. A portion of the net profit from those business relationships is then shared back with RMU Athletics to directly support student-athlete development, operations, and departmental growth.

"To compete at the highest level, we must think differently about how we drive revenue and this partnership with NOCAP Revenue gives us a smart, sustainable path forward," said Chris King, Vice President & Director of Athletics at Robert Morris University. "It allows our community and business partners to support us in a way that also benefits their bottom line."

"RMU is leaning into a smarter way to grow athletic revenue without relying solely on donations," said Adam Gunn, COO of NOCAP Revenue. "We're proud to partner with the University and its leadership to help build long-term financial strength through strategic business relationships."

Why This Partnership Matters:
  • No cost or disruption to the university or participating businesses
  • Businesses often save money or gain improved services through the program
  • Revenue generated is directed exclusively to the athletic department
  • Model already proving successful with peer universities across multiple industries
