MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Four members of the RMU men's soccer team were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing excellence both in the classroom and on the pitch.

Jack Bejarano each earned the prestigious distinction for the Colonials.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale and compete in at least 90 percent of the institution's matches or start at least 66 percent of contests.
Overkamp, a computer science major with a 3.97 cumulative GPA, earns CSC Academic All-District honors for the second consecutive season. He also collected multiple accolades during the 2025 campaign, including Horizon League All-Academic Team recognition, Horizon League First Team All-Conference honors, one Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week award and a TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week selection. On the field, Overkamp played in all 17 matches for RMU, starting 16, and recorded two goals and three assists. He ranked second on the team in minutes played with 1,408.
Koah, a finance major carrying a 3.66 cumulative GPA, was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for the first time in his career. He appeared in all 17 matches for the Colonials and made 16 starts, finishing the season with three goals and one assist. Koah ranked third on the team in minutes played, logging 1,398 over the course of the campaign.
Lane, a psychology major with a 3.52 cumulative GPA, anchored the Colonials in goal throughout the season. He started all 17 matches for RMU, posting six victories, five clean sheets and a total of 61 saves. Lane was also recognized with Horizon League All-Academic Team Honorable Mention, Horizon League Third Team All-Conference honors and one Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week award.
Bejarano, a finance major with a 3.93 cumulative GPA, earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time in his career. He appeared in 16 matches during the season, making 11 starts, and finished second on the team in points with 10. Bejarano scored three goals and four assists for the Colonials.
RMU concluded the 2025 season with a 6-4-7 overall record and a 3-1-5 mark in Horizon League play. The Colonials advanced to the Horizon League Tournament semifinals for the second consecutive season.
