QUOTE FROM COACH MCCABE
"I'm proud of the toughness are team showed today. Detroit Mercy is a really, really good team. They're super, super tough. We told them that if we could be tougher than them and be the better team, we thought we could come out with a win, and that's what kind of showed in that dog fight. We've got to be a lot better offensively. Turning the ball over 22 times is unacceptable. We were up, I think 16 at one point, and then they started pressing us, and we just were coughing it up. So, we've got to take care of the ball better, but proud of Myriam and Jada, both stepped up after halftime. They had zero points at half, and I challenged Jada. She did a really, really good job, and in that 3
rd quarter, which really gave us a good lead. So just overall, good team effort, I told them, I think we're playing okay right now. So, we've got to continue to get better and start playing good and then great."
